The Data Engineer has a unique role to build world class data platforms and deploy scalable business intelligence tools for Populi. The ideal candidate relishes working with large volumes of data, enjoys the challenge of highly complex technical contexts, and, above all else, is passionate about data and analytics. He/she is an expert with data modeling, ETL design, and business intelligence tools, and passionately partners with the business to identify strategic opportunities where improvements in data infrastructure creates outsized business impact. He/she is a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big (while paying careful attention to detail), and enjoys working in a fast-paced team. The ideal candidate needs to possess exceptional technical expertise in large scale data lake and BI systems with hands-on knowledge with Apache Spark, SQL, NoSQL, Distributed/MPP data storage, and AWS services.
Data Scientists are responsible for cleaning, transforming, enriching, and analyzing vast amounts of raw data from various systems using Apache Spark and other analytics packages to develop valuable features and to provide ready-to-use data to stakeholders for robust downstream analysis. They analyze data for correlations to identify trends and predictive power, and build, maintain, and deploy predictive models. Data Scientists work with analysts to understand business needs and requirements, and data engineers to implement scalable pipelines for ETL, model training, and scoring. They service both ad-hoc requests as well as core pipeline development. The ideal candidate has a passion for discovering insight hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes. They keep up with the latest technology including the latest versions of spark, new analytical packages, etc. They must have a proven ability to drive business results with their data-based insights and be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams.
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is a hands-on role that directs, oversees, and implements business intelligence tools, applications, dashboards, and visualizations for business and customer use. They facilitate organizational data strategies for governance, design, implementation, integration and usage, and are responsible for leading the design and maintenance of business intelligence applications using industry leading best practices for analytics design and user experience. They ensure that Populi’s business intelligence applications enhance the business decision making capabilities of our customers.
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is both a business-facing and sometimes customer-facing role that requires a candidate with a strong data analytics background who understands data, visualization of data, metric and dimensions design, filtering and aggregation strategies, and data quality. In this highly visible role, you will partner with internal and external customers to understand their challenges and guide the Agile workstream to establish and implement products and deliverables in support of the domain. Additionally, this role will actively participate in the design and iteration of Populi’s data, API, and UI products. The ideal candidate has a passion for proactively discovering insight hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes and develop new data and analytic product offerings, and has hands-on experience with data management, dashboard development, data governance and data quality. They keep up with the latest technology and features including the latest versions of leading BI tools such as Tableau, and the most popular data visualization tools. They must have a proven ability to drive business results with their data-based insights and be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams.

Working in coordination with a team of customer-facing business data analysts, they will help design and deliver services that support customer specific analytics use cases to help them meet their marketing, planning and patient growth goals.

They are knowledgeable about claims data, diagnosis and procedure coding and related service lines, and provider data nuances. They will also understand how customers will apply data and analytics in technical environments including the use of common tools like AWS, GCP, Azure, Tableau, PowerBI.

The Customer Success Manager, Population Intelligence works cross functionally with a number of different internal and external stakeholders and stakeholder groups to support Populi’s overall customer success.

Working in coordination with a team of customer-facing business analysts, they will help design and deliver services that support customer specific intelligence use cases to help customers meet their marketing, planning and patient growth goals.
