Meet Justin Leonard, Senior Director of Customer Success at Populi. Justin works directly with customers to help them get the most out of their experience with Populi and take full advantage of the platform. In his free time, you can find him traveling with his family and working on his golf swing.

Q: What’s your role at Populi, and what does an average day look like for you?
A: I’m the Senior Director of Customer Success here at Populi. Every day is very different, which is great. I have the opportunity to work with a number of our customers on different initiatives and projects. It’s both humbling and such an awesome experience to work with people who are solely focused on caring for all of us and our loved ones. I also get to partner with the amazing people here at Populi, focusing on how we can best serve our customers with top-notch products and services.
Q: What do you think customers value the most about their experience with Populi?
A: Making access to healthcare analytics easy! We consistently receive feedback from our customers that the products we provide are solutions they’ve never really had at their fingertips, packaged in such a way that they’re very easy to use and access to support their critical initiatives. Our customers receive very quick time to value as we onboard them to the Populi platform.
Q: What do you like most about working for Populi?
A: The culture! I know that term gets used quite often; however, this is truly one of the best environments that I’ve worked in. Our team includes incredibly talented industry experts, engineers, data scientists and product leaders who are always striving to enhance our customers’ experience!
Q: How do you facilitate collaboration with your team in a remote setting?
A: Clear communication and alignment on goals. At Populi, we have a number of channels that assist with collaboration, whether it be through team meetings, one-on-one meetings, shared platforms and “coffee chats” to get to know each other on a personal level as well. Our HR team has also done a great job with setting up consistent remote team events that are so much fun and foster building that “one team” mentality.
Q: How do you like to spend your free time?
A: I definitely love spending my free time with my family. Traveling, days at the beach or just hanging out around the house — I enjoy and look forward to those moments every day. I also really enjoy playing golf. I’m horrible, but I love being outside and trying to improve every time I play.
Q: If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be?
A: Tacos. Game over.
Q: What’s the best concert you’ve been to?
A: U2. I always enjoyed their music, and when I got the opportunity to see them live in concert, they put on an amazing show!
Q: If you came back in your next life as an animal, what animal would you be?
A: I can honestly say that I’ve never thought about this. However, given that I really enjoy being a part of a team, whether it’s with family, friends or at work, I would have to say a dolphin. I’m also fascinated by the ocean, so it would be interesting to be able to explore there as well.
